Facebook Live Sale

We are so excited to host another Facebook Live Sale on Monday, December 14th at 6 PM (CST). Luckily for you, we received a large order after Small Business Saturday. Now you can shop this great sale from the comfort of your home and avoid the hustle and bustle found in other stores. All of our live sales in the past have been successful and we keep trying to bring you the best deals possible. We will have a variety of products for sale to meet the needs of every crafter. So, mark your calendar, grab some hot cocoa and shop! See rules and information below. Contact us with any questions.

Live Sale Rules:

  • Each item will have an item #, price, and quantity available.
    • Several items are last chance and we are no longer able to order. So don’t miss out!
  • If you want to purchase an item, comment with SOLD and item #. 
    • Example: SOLD #36
    • First come, first serve
  • Comments will be reviewed and received in real time once the sale is over. 
    • Note: The live video feed and comments will depend on your internet connection and speed. We will be using a recording of the live video to verify all items sold. 
  • Some items are on sale. Other items might be regular priced.

After the Live Sale:

  • The sale will be closed once the video ends. Any comments made after the live recording are not guaranteed sales.
  • We will contact all customers from the sale to verify purchases and process payments. You will have 48 hours to pay for your items once we contact you.
    • Depending on the number of items for sale and how long the sale goes, it could take us a day or two to process all request. Please be patience with us. We take our time and double check all orders to ensure accuracy.
    • If you have not shopped with us in the past, please sign up for updates on our website prior to the sale.
    • Also, if you go by a different name on FB than we have you in the system, send us a private message so we make sure you get your items.
  • Items must be picked up in store or through curbside pickup by December 24th at 4pm.
    • The store will be closed starting at 4pm on December 24th and will reopen on Monday, January 4th at 10am. We are closed during this time for the holidays and inventory. 
  • Orders can be shipped.
    • $5 flat rate shipping for all orders $99 or less
    • FREE shipping for orders over $100
    • We will ship to anyone in the United States (even if you live locally)

SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY

Forget Black Friday – – this season, shop local and shop small!  Please set aside some time to visit area businesses this season.  You’ll be sure to find unique items and a level of personal service that only independent businesses can provide.

The Paper Forest will be celebrating Small Business Saturday with giveaways, discounts and more!  Watch for updates about special offers that will be available for one day only – – you won’t want to miss out!

We have special crop nights whenever there is a 5th Friday in the month, calling these our “Fifth Friday Fiesta!” nights.  $20 fee includes dinner, snacks, door prizes and games.  Since we all NEED more things to scrapbook, we’ll also be sure you have some good photo op moments!

This month:  Yee Haw!  Put on your best cowboy attire and join us for a Fifth Friday Hoedown!

Our Fifth Friday crops are VERY popular and tend to sell out quickly – reserve your spot well in advance.

Fifth Friday Fiesta!

Every month with a fifth Friday, we hold a special crop night from 5pm – 12 midnight!

Fee includes dinner, snacks, door prizes & more.  Each Fifth Friday crop has a theme – this month our theme is “Cozy Comfort!”  We’ll have homemade chili, homemade soup, desserts and hot cocoa.  Come dressed for comfort in your favorite sweats or comfy PJ’s and slippers!

Fifth Fridays are VERY popular and do sell usually sell out in advance.  Preregistration is required – and we suggest you call early!

The Budweiser Clydesdales are Coming to Washington!

Pulling4WashingtonThe world-renowned Budweiser Clydesdales will be in Washington the week of August 18 – 24!

The Washington Chamber of Commerce has been hard at work pulling this together, as the opportunity for this amazing visit came together fairly quickly.  We are all extremely grateful to have this fantastic experience thanks to Brewer’s Distributing as a show of support for the ongoing rebuilding of so much of our community.  There will be MANY chances to see these amazing horses in action and at rest in their temporary home!  The horses will be joining festivities in town all week, including the Taste of Washington, the Washington Arts Festival and more!

PASSPORT GAME:  You can show your support for local businesses AND have a chance to win $1,000 in gift certificates!  Pick up a passport from any participating business (like US, for example!) or at the Chamber of Commerce office.  You can also download it here: Passport Game Card.

The Clydesdales arrive at Uftring Chevy of Washington and get settled in.  No public appearances today.  The horses need their beauty sleep!

Tuesday, August 19

7th Annual Taste of Washington at Mt. Vernon & Constitution

Horses get their beauty treatment: baths & brushings

Visit the Clydesdales at their Enhanced Stable Experience

Visit the horses at their temporary home.  The Clydesdales will be housed on the north side of the Uftring Chevrolet of Washington building at 1880 Washington Road, Washington, IL.  Access to parking is available on Mt. Vernon Street and Constitution Avenue
