Silhouette Skills: Make it STICK!

There are so many amazing things that Silhouette machines can do that we want to share with you!  Each month we offer 1 – 2 workshops focusing on one of the capabilities of the Cameo and Portrait machines by Silhouette.  Each workshop is held twice, once during the day and repeated in the evening, giving everyone the option to attend!  Please review Class Policies & FAQ for more information and a list of suggested basics to bring.

THIS MONTH:  There is one thing that all crafters know – you can never have enough adhesive!  The more intricate the item you are working with, however, the trickier it can be to assemble and adhere various parts of any paper project.  Since Cameo and Portrait machines allow you to create delicate, detailed and fine-line cut outs, it only makes sense to find a way to make adhering those items as easy and efficient as possible.  That’s what we’ll be showing you in this workshop, using double-sided adhesive sheets to adhere your paper and cut it – all at the same time!

Students need to bring:

  • Cameo or Portrait cutting machine with power & connection cords
  • Laptop computer with Silhouette Design software installed and updated
  • Cutting mat

Card of the Month Class

Join us for a fun evening making cards & learning new tricks & techniques!  The cards will be original designs by one of our staff members, Tami Chronowski.  Tami is a card designer to the EXTREME, with hundreds of past students to attest to her skills as both a designer and a teacher.  She will be bringing fun techniques each month using stamps, dies, embossing folders, embellishments, foils, glitter and more!  You’ll not only make adorable, beautiful & unique cards during the class, you’ll have new skills & ideas to design your own projects later!

More information and photos for this month’s cards will be posted as soon as they are available.

Skrap Pages Class – September

Do you struggle with designing page layouts?  Whether you are just getting started or have been scrapbooking for years, sketches can help you create pages like a pro!  Each month, we will present a layout sketch and show you how you can build your pages from it, vary it and bring new life to your albums!  Best of all, you will be able to CHOOSE from at least two optional design kits for the class, so you’ll be sure to leave with pages you can actually use!  Papers & embellishments from assorted brands will be included, students each need their own basic supplies & tools.

Please review Class Policies & FAQ for more information and a list of suggested basics to bring.  Instructors will vary each month.
