We have a few new items that arrived today we’d like to share with you. First is a 36 Marker set from DoCrafts. This is a set of 36 watercolor markers with a specially designed carrying folder. The markers are dual-tipped with a fine nib on one end and an ultra-fine brush tip on the other. These are smaller in size than Tombow Dual Brush markers, but work very similar. Our own in-store testing has been very favorable so far. One especially nice feature is that fine brush tip. If you have stamps and images with lots of detail, you will LOVE the way the fine brush gives you smooth color and control in the tiniest of spaces. The inks blend well both on paper and using a palette. Being water based, they are more “forgiving” with regard to blending and shading as well. The smaller size does mean they hold less ink, of course, but it also means you can carry the entire 36 piece set in a purse or handbag for easy travel. The price tag is small too – just $39.99 for the whole set and the carrying case! The case even opens up to double as a stand at your workspace. It’s just a fun, easy to carry & use set for coloring projects at home or on the go! We have only a limited number on hand at the moment but hope to get more in stock soon. Come on by and see these new markers from the UK for yourself. The set will be a great addition to any crafter’s kit – and at only $39.99 it would be a wonderful gift as well!
The other new item we want to share today pairs well with the Artiste markers and Tombow Dual Brush markers alike. It is a blending kit from Tombow that contains a blending pen, a small blending mister and a reusable blending palette. Use this set with your watercolor markers to get exactly the right shade for your project or to practice blending techniques.
Now how about a little “teaser” about some new stamps & embossing folders arriving soon? Taylored Expressions has just released some delightful new products for Christmas and winter (I know – I hate to think about winter right now too!) After last winter, none of us are really looking forward to those cold, snowy days – but make them happier by using the time indoors to craft! These will be wonderful for Christmas cards, thank you notes after the holidays and scrapbooking all the holiday & winter memories. The “Snowfall” embossing folder can also be used all-year-round. Turn it upside down and the “snowflakes” become bubbles for water, soda, champagne & more. It can also just add some interesting texture to a project. These will be in stock by this weekend, but they won’t last long!
